The Egypt Metro App is an application that assists both sighted and visually impaired users of the Cairo Metro in navigating between different stations across all metro lines by utilizing GPS technology in above-ground and surface-level metro stations and mobile network positioning technology in underground metro stations. The app identifies stations and interchange points along the journey route based on the shortest distance and fewest number of stations immediately after selecting the starting and destination stations, while also calculating the number of stations, metro ticket price, and metro ticket color for the intended trip.

1- Run the application and it will attempt to automatically detect your current metro station.
2- If the application fails to recognize the metro station, it will prompt you to manually select it.
3- You will then specify your destination station.
4- The application will map your journey route and provide audio notifications at each station.
5- The app will display the total number of stations in your trip, along with the ticket price and color.
6- The app will indicate any interchange stations where you may need to change direction or transfer lines.
7- The application will notify you when you arrive at your destination station.
